Steve Johns
President

Steve Johns grew up around airports, airplanes and insurance. It's hard to tell which came first. As a kid, he washed airplanes at a local FBO on weekends when he wasn't sweeping the floors of his father's insurance agency. Steve soloed on his 16th birthday and joined LL Johns as an agent not too many years later-immediately after graduating from University of Michigan. He became manager of the agency in 1989 and President in 2001.

Sean Kallsen
Vice President

As the son of a Naval aviator, it was no surprise that Sean earned an aviation degree and his Private Pilot's License at the same time. While he was a student at the University of North Dakota, he spent a summer as an intern with a large insurance company. After graduation, Sean set out to find a group of insurance professionals that shared his desire to be the best. Needless to say, he's been with LL Johns & Associates ever since.

John Gostinger
Account Executive

John has spent over 37 years in the aviation insurance business and even longer as a pilot. Over the years, he has earned Commercial, MEI and CFII ratings. John is still an active flight instructor who has helped more than 100 students earn their licenses. His experience as a pilot and Cessna 150 owner have given him great insight into the insurance needs of pleasure pilots and small aircraft owners.

Keith Sallee
Customer Service Manager

Keith graduated from Embry Riddle University with a Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Business Administration and a multi-engine instrument rating. He joined LL Johns & Associates as a Customer Service Representative before his desire to see the world led him to pursue a career as a flight attendant. He flew with several major airlines and spent three years with Ford Motor Company's Flight Department, where he gained a world of insight into corporate aviation. That's when Keith came home to LL Johns & Associates as our Customer Service Manager.

Forty years ago, Larry Johns had a Piper Tri-Pacer and an itch to make his living in aviation. Soon, he found himself working for the company that insured his airplane. In 1971, Larry started LL Johns & Associates insurance, with his old insurance agent as his first employee. Today, we insure pilots, aircraft and aviation operations around the world. Larry still loves to fly and he still loves to help other aviation enthusiasts realize their dreams of flight.
